About Symmetrie

Symmetrie is a boutique Interior Design + Styling Studio focused on creating beautifully balanced spaces that align with our clients unique vision. Our name reflects our approach to design, where every element is carefully considered and thoughtfully designed. 

Symmetrie is led by Sydney born and bred Interior Designer Emma Heidke. From a young age Emma cultivated a love and appreciation for the aesthetics of her own home, which led to studying Interior Design at Enmore Design Centre in 2008-2010. She understands the subtle ways that design impacts our emotions, and over years of styling and designing, has developed a keen sense of how to curate spaces that are effortlessly inviting. 

After 10 years spent immersed in the Sydney interior design and property styling world, Emma relocated to Tasmania in 2019 and brings a fresh approach to her Launceston clients. She is continually inspired by modern Australian architecture and creates refined, functional designs with a focus on natural materials and quality homewares.

Since opening the doors to Symmetrie, we have been fortunate enough to work on some amazing projects that have featured in Home Beautiful Magazine and The Local Project.

You’ll find Emma spending her down time with her husband, two little people and black Labrador, or updating her own home.
