DDTA Dental & Skin Clinic
The Project:
The concept for the reimagined spaces was ‘a refined blend of the old and new, embracing existing architectural features while combining contemporary aesethics for an added layer of sophistication.’
Refraining from the typical dental clinic aesthetic that can at times feel quite clinical and commercial, the intention was to create a warm and inviting space for the DDTA patients. Walnut timber, antique brass, smoked mirror and ‘Smereldo’ emerald green Quartzite adorn the reception and waiting rooms, while the surgeries consist of Walnut timber, Corian Dune Prima work tops, Dulux ‘Vintage Green’ joinery & reeded glass.
The second building within DDTA houses the skin and wellness clinic, which saw a more feminine approach to its aesthetics. Warm toned joinery is adorned with brass hardware and Calcutta Viola marble, paired with contemporary furniture, Dina Broadhurst artwork and blush velvet upholstered seating.
Through simplistic joinery design, carefully curated materials, thoughtfully selected furniture, lighting & styling selections, DDTA now boasts timeless, sophisticated interiors that I hope their patients continue to enjoy for many years.
